scorpions in the Khuzestan

BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVE*

Scabrous Mesobutos Epic belongs to the Butti family. This scorpion is one of the most abundant scorpions in the Khuzestan area and is responsible for about 45% of scorpions in this area. The scorpion venom consists of neurotoxins that affect the ion channels of the cells. Considering the importance of studying the scorpions in this geographical area and that there was not much work on the activity of enzymes in the Mesoput oophorus scrotum venom, we decided to separate Mesobutos Epic scorpion venom fractions by filtration gel chromatography and the activity of the phospholipase A2 enzymes And hyaluronidase in isolated fractions. Materials and Methods: One gram of raw venom was dissolved in 10 ml of water and centrifuged for 18000 xg for 12 minutes. The supernatant containing the protein was applied to the chromatography column of the Sephadex G50 filtration gel with a 20mM ammonium acetate buffer, pH 4.7, at 30 ml / hr.

Scorpion venom:The solution was collected in 3 ml volumes. The optical absorption was continuously measured at 280 nm. Then, the amount of protein, phospholipase A2 activity and hyaluronidase activity were measured in all isolated fractions. Results: One gram of raw poison contained 816 mg of protein. Enzyme activity was observed in raw venom, fraction I and a small amount in fraction II, respectively, with 53.12, 73.3 and 2.43%, respectively, of hemolysis activity. The enzyme activity is 60, 32, 30, 30, 30 and 30, respectively. Hyaluronidase activity was observed in raw venom and only in the first fraction. The activity of the enzyme hyaluronidase in the toxic venom was 740 TRU / mg and in the fraction I obtained from chromatography TRU / mg 45.75 mg and the purity of the enzyme was determined to be 18.6. Conclusion: Mesoputhecus epirosus scorpion venom has both phospholipid activity and hyaluronidase, which is separated by filtration gel chromatography in the first fraction.

About Scorpion*
Scorpion venom:Scouts have different colors, such as brownish brown, brown, gray and black, and vary in size from 18 to 1.5 centimeters. But due to its flat shape, it can also slip through 3 mm wide gaps to enter the house.
Scouts are found in the outdoors in gaps and gaps between rocks, under the bark of trees, between firewood and the like, and they are seen in the home in the bathroom, in the bathroom, in the kitchen, in the kitchen and in the wet environments. These animals hide in their ears all day and start their activities during the night and go after their hunt and inject their poison through their sting at the tail end of their hunt.

Scorpion venom:The Venus Venus is a clear, liquid liquid that has an alkaline property to neutralize and is in fact a kind of protein. The poison is composed of elements such as carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen and sulfur. The poison contains various proteins such as toxin and enzymes. Toxins or toxic agents include neuroxin (neurotoxin), hemotoxin, and cardiotoxin. Enzymes that make it easy to get toxins include lecithinase, hyaluronidase, phospholipase, proteinase, and coagulation or anticoagulant enzymes. Venus is more effective on the end and small animals, but some of its variants, like the “killer scorpion”, are deadly for humans. It is not known that a scorpion can dance after a few minutes.

The venom of most toxic scars causes red blood cells to be destroyed, and it also causes localized pain and swelling at the site of the bite. Although some of the fatal types of venom do not cause local symptoms and inflammation, but they must be examined by a doctor and treated with anti-Scorpion serum, children and elderly people are more vulnerable to Scorpios and need more attention. In addition to damage to red blood cells, scorpion venom also produces neurological symptoms that include restlessness, seizures, uneven walking, mouth watering, severe skin-to-skin sensation, muscle contractions, abdominal pain and decreased respiratory function, which in most cases Symptoms fall in 48 hours.

Scorpion or scorpion is the name of one of the arthropods of the Spider-Man category, which has 8 legs and a bite with deadly venom. Scorpion bite is at the tip of it. The Scorpions are slowly pursuing their biological activities at night and are more active in hot climates.
